A comprehensive system for managing staff transport, implemented at Valeo from the Automotive industry, a producer of car parts. The system consists of a mobile application used on Android smartphones and an RFID (NFC) card reader installed in buses.

Automatically generated reports present data on the number of passengers on a given route, vehicle occupancy or its current position. Based on the information, it is possible to optimise the route and reduce transportation costs (fuel, time, journey length).
